Excellent coffee shop in Plymouth. It's in a house-like structure, so there are a number of rooms to sit and hang out in, with outdoor seating in front and out back. Evening events - open mic night, movie nights - on a weekly schedule. The Myspace page has music from some of the bands that have played there.
The coffee deal is that you can rent one of the house's many ugly/floral/commemorative mugs for $3 [citation needed, it's been a while] and then it's yours to enjoy all the drip coffee you can handle during your stay.
