Lower Rouge River Recreation Trail

A non-motorized trail system along the Lower Rouge River designed to provide outdoor recreational space for Canton area residents.
Construction of the trail began in Fall of 2007 as a joint venture between Canton Municipal Services, Canton Leisure Services, Wayne County, and the Michigan Department of Transportation. Once completed, the Lower Rouge River Recreation Trail will run along a four-mile stretch of the Lower Rouge River from Canton Center Rd to Hannan Rd.
The Friends of the Lower Rouge River Recreation Trail is a volunteer organization dedicated to improving the trail.

To get to the parking lot, turn onto Morton Taylor Rd from Michigan Ave and the road will dead end at the parking lot.
