Friends of Canton's Dog Park
In partnership with Canton Leisure Services, Friends of Canton's Dog Park is attempting to create an Off-Leash Dog Park in Canton.

$50,000 is needed to create the dog park and donations can be given to the Canton Parks Department or dropped at any of these local businesses: Alsager Animal Care Center, Biggby Coffee, Canton Center Animal Hospital, Crimboli Nursery, Keller and Stein Florist & Greenhouse, Lee's Chicken, My Mobile, Parkway Veterinary Clinic, Shampooch Dog Wash and Grooming, Show Room of Elegance, Thomson's Automotive, and Ultimate Tanning.

There are also dining events where local restaurants will have printable coupons that will donate a portion of the proceeds from your meal to the dog park:

[edit] Location
The Dog Park will occupy three to seven acres near Cherry Hill Village adjacent to the Bartlett-Travis House. The park will be divided into sections for large and small dogs.
